ACCOMMODATION OPERATING RULES
Houseboat Neptun – Císařská louka, Prague 5
Dear Guests,
To make your stay on Houseboat Neptun as pleasant, safe and trouble-free as possible, we kindly ask you to observe the rules set out below. By staying on the houseboat, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Operating Rules.
1. General Rules
1.1 Guests use the houseboat, its equipment, access paths, outdoor areas, pier, upper deck and surrounding areas at their own risk.
1.2 Guests are obliged to behave considerately towards the houseboat equipment, the surrounding nature, the water environment, other persons in the marina and other users of the Císařská louka area.
1.3 Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. During this time, it is prohibited to disturb the surroundings by noise, loud music, shouting or any other inappropriate behaviour.
1.4 The houseboat is normally intended for a stay of 2 persons, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the operator in advance.
1.5 The technical maximum capacity of the houseboat is 5 persons, and the maximum load is 600 kg, including persons and luggage. This technical capacity must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
1.6 Entry to and stay on the houseboat is permitted only to persons stated in the reservation and properly registered via the registration form.
1.7 The presence of additional persons, visitors or persons not stated in the reservation is not permitted without the prior written consent of the operator.
1.8 In the event that more persons are present than stated in the reservation, or in the event of the presence of unregistered persons on the houseboat or in its immediate surroundings, the operator is entitled to charge a contractual penalty of EUR 150. This does not affect the operator’s right to claim compensation for damage in a higher amount.
1.9 Without the prior consent of the operator, it is not permitted to organize celebrations, parties, noisy events, commercial photo shoots, filming or other similar activities.
1.10 Children may move around the houseboat, upper deck, stairs, pier and the area near the water only under constant adult supervision.
2. Safety and Movement Near Water
2.1 The houseboat is located directly on the water. Guests are obliged to exercise increased caution when moving on the pier, stairs, terrace, deck, upper deck and near the water.
2.2 Access to the houseboat leads across metal grating, a pier and stairs. These surfaces may be wet or slippery, especially during rain, wind, morning dew, frost or after dark.
2.3 Movement on the pier, stairs, metal grating, terrace, lower and upper parts of the houseboat is entirely at the guest’s own risk.
2.4 It is prohibited to run, jump, climb over railings, sit on railings, lean over the edge, enter outside designated access paths or move on structural or technical parts of the houseboat.
2.5 Jumping into the water from the houseboat, pier or any other part of the marina is strictly prohibited.
2.6 Swimming near the houseboat, entering the water or any movement in the water is entirely at the guest’s own risk.
2.7 It is prohibited to move around neighbouring houseboats, boats, private piers or other parts of the marina that are not intended for guests of Houseboat Neptun.
2.8 In the event of strong wind, storm, frost, increased water level or any other extraordinary situation, guests are obliged to exercise increased caution and follow the instructions of the operator or marina manager.
3. Upper Deck, Stairs and Opening Hatch
3.1 Guests may use the upper deck of the houseboat only provided that they exercise increased caution and move safely, and entry is entirely at their own risk.
3.2 Access to the upper deck is via stairs and an opening hatch above the stairs. Guests may open the hatch for the purpose of safe passage.
3.3 After each use, guests are obliged to close the hatch properly again.
3.4 An open hatch may pose a risk of falling, injury or damage to equipment. Guests are responsible for ensuring that the hatch is not left open unattended, especially if children, pets or other persons are present on the houseboat.
3.5 When using the stairs and upper deck, guests are obliged to exercise increased caution. Surfaces may be slippery, especially in rain, humidity, wind, frost or after dark.
3.6 On the upper deck, it is prohibited to run, jump, climb over railings, sit on railings, lean over the edge or move outside areas intended for normal use.
4. Protection of Equipment and Responsibility for Damage
4.1 Guests are obliged to handle the houseboat equipment with care and use it only for its intended purpose.
4.2 Any defect, damage, malfunctioning equipment or extraordinary situation must be reported to the operator immediately.
4.3 The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the houseboat, its equipment, devices, keys, security system, electronics, furniture, textiles, accessories, outdoor equipment and paddle boat.
4.4 It is not permitted to remove any inventory from the houseboat, including towels, bed linen, dishes, kitchen equipment, decorations, electronics, outdoor equipment or any other accessories.
4.5 It is prohibited to enter the interior of the houseboat in dirty outdoor footwear. Guests are obliged to keep the interior, sofa, bed, mattress, carpets, textiles, walls and bathroom clean.
4.6 In the event of excessive soiling of the interior, sofa, mattress, bedding, walls, floors, bathroom or other equipment, the operator is entitled to charge a flat-rate compensation for extraordinary cleaning, deep cleaning or repair in the amount of EUR 150.
4.7 If the actual damage exceeds the amount stated above, the guest is obliged to compensate the damage in full.
5. Keys, Lockbox and Key Locator
5.1 The keys to the houseboat are handed over to guests via a lockbox according to the operator’s instructions.
5.2 Upon arrival, guests receive a set of keys intended exclusively for normal use of and access to the houseboat.
5.3 The key set includes, in particular, a key to the entrance gate / gate to the area, a key to the houseboat, a small key to the outdoor storage cabinet and a key locator in case of loss.
5.4 From the moment of receiving the keys, the guest bears full responsibility for their loss, damage, misuse or failure to return them.
5.5 The key to the outdoor storage cabinet is intended only for opening the cabinet containing outdoor equipment, especially loungers and outdoor seating.
5.6 Upon departure, the guest is obliged to lock the houseboat properly and return the keys to the same lockbox from which they collected them upon arrival. After placing the keys inside, the lockbox must be closed carefully and the numbers scrambled.
5.7 For security reasons, the keys may be equipped with an AirTag or similar locator device, used exclusively in case of loss, theft or failure to return the keys. The locator is not used to track guests’ movement.
5.8 It is prohibited to remove, switch off, damage, cover or otherwise manipulate the locator.
5.9 It is prohibited to lend the keys to third parties, separate them from the key set or use them for any purpose other than the one for which they are intended.
5.10 In the event of loss, damage or failure to return the keys, the guest is obliged to cover all costs related to lock replacement, production of new keys, transport, service intervention and related administration.
6. Outdoor Storage Cabinet, Loungers and Outdoor Equipment
6.1 The houseboat includes an outdoor storage cabinet, for which guests receive a small key as part of the key set.
6.2 The outdoor storage cabinet is intended only for storing outdoor equipment, especially loungers, outdoor seating or other accessories intended for guests.
6.3 Guests may use this equipment during their stay on the lower part of the houseboat or on the upper deck, provided that its use is safe and in accordance with these Operating Rules.
6.4 Outdoor equipment must not be removed from the houseboat, taken to neighbouring piers, other boats, the shore or other parts of the area.
6.5 Guests are obliged to handle outdoor equipment with care and protect it from damage, wind, falling into the water, rain or loss.
6.6 After use, in bad weather, strong wind or upon departure, guests are obliged to return the equipment to the outdoor storage cabinet, close the cabinet and lock it.
6.7 After each opening, the guest is obliged to close and secure the storage cabinet properly again.
6.8 In the event of loss, damage, theft, falling of the equipment into the water or failure to return it, the guest is responsible for the damage in full.
7. Ropes, Winches, Mooring and Technical Elements
7.1 The houseboat is equipped with ropes, winches, mooring elements, anchoring elements and other technical equipment related to its positioning and safe securing on the water.
7.2 Guests are strictly prohibited from manipulating these elements in any way.
7.3 In particular, it is prohibited to loosen, tighten, untie, move or use ropes, winches, mooring elements, anchoring elements, technical connections, structural elements or any equipment that is not expressly intended for normal use by guests.
7.4 Any manipulation with these elements is reserved exclusively for the operator, marina manager, technician or another authorised person.
7.5 In the event of unauthorised manipulation, the guest is responsible for all resulting damage, costs of intervention, repair, transport, safety inspection of the houseboat and any other related costs.
8. Technical Connections and Electricity
8.1 The houseboat is connected to an external electrical supply in the marina.
8.2 Guests are strictly prohibited from manipulating electrical cables, sockets, blue electrical connectors, extension cables, circuit breakers or any technical connection of the houseboat.
8.3 All technical connections serve exclusively for the operation of the houseboat and may be handled only by the operator, marina manager or an authorised person.
8.4 In the event of a power outage, sparks, unusual smell, damaged cable, loose socket or any other unusual situation, the guest is obliged to contact the operator immediately and not interfere with the equipment in any way.
8.5 Any unauthorised manipulation with technical connections, cables, sockets or electrical equipment may be considered a serious breach of these Operating Rules.
8.6 In the event of damage to technical equipment, cables, connections or electrical devices, the guest is obliged to compensate the damage and related costs.
9. Air Conditioning, Remote Controls, Lighting and Television
9.1 The houseboat is equipped with air conditioning, television, interior lighting, exterior lighting and relevant remote controls.
9.2 Instructions for using the air conditioning, lights and other equipment are sent to guests before arrival in the form of an arrival video or other instructions from the operator. Guests are obliged to follow these instructions.
9.3 The air-conditioning remote control is intended only for normal operation of the air conditioning. The air conditioning is intended to cool the interior. When using it, windows and doors must be closed.
9.4 It is prohibited to leave the air conditioning switched on during longer absence from the houseboat.
9.5 The remote control for the interior light is intended only for controlling the interior lighting.
9.6 The black controller fixed to the wall is used to control the exterior lighting of the houseboat. Guests must not remove, take away, cover, damage or otherwise manipulate this controller without authorisation.
9.7 The television and other electronics must be used carefully and only in the usual manner.
9.8 The guest must not interfere with electrical wiring, circuit breakers, cables, technical installations, remote controls, lights, air conditioning, television or any other technical equipment of the houseboat.
9.9 In the event of a defect, unusual sound, smell, smoke, power outage or any other unusual situation, the guest is obliged to contact the operator immediately and not interfere with the equipment.
10. Security System Jablotron
10.1 The houseboat is equipped with a Jablotron security system.
10.2 Guests are obliged to use the security system only according to the operator’s instructions.
10.3 Instructions for using the security system are sent to guests before arrival, especially in the form of an arrival video or other instructions from the operator.
10.4 When leaving the houseboat, guests are obliged to close the windows and doors, secure the houseboat and follow the provided instructions.
10.5 Any unauthorised manipulation with the security system, sensors, control elements, technical components or wiring is prohibited.
10.6 In the event of alarm activation, system error or any other unusual situation, the guest is obliged to contact the operator immediately.
10.7 Costs caused by unauthorised or negligent activation of the alarm, damage to the system or the need for a service intervention may be charged to the guest.
11. Camera System
11.1 For the protection of property, guest safety, prevention of damage and monitoring of access areas, the houseboat and its immediate outdoor surroundings are monitored by a camera system.
11.2 Cameras are placed only in outdoor areas, especially at the entrance / above the entrance to the houseboat and facing the area near the paddle boat.
11.3 Cameras are not placed inside the houseboat, in the bathroom, bedroom or any other private indoor areas of the guests.
11.4 The camera system is not used to monitor guests’ private lives, but exclusively for the protection of property, safety and the handling of extraordinary events.
11.5 Any manipulation with cameras, covering them, damaging them, changing their direction or switching them off is strictly prohibited.
12. Smoking, Open Fire and Prohibited Substances
12.1 Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the houseboat.
12.2 Smoking is permitted only in the outdoor area, provided that it does not endanger the equipment, other persons, nature or the safety of the houseboat.
12.3 Cigarette butts must be disposed of only in the designated container. It is prohibited to throw them into the water, onto the pier, into nature or into ordinary waste without proper extinguishing.
12.4 The use of candles, sparklers, oil lamps, pyrotechnics, grills, open fire or any other sources of flame is prohibited on and around the houseboat, unless expressly permitted by the operator.
12.5 The use of drugs and other narcotic or psychotropic substances is prohibited.
13. Lifebuoy and Safety Equipment
13.1 The houseboat is equipped with a lifebuoy, intended exclusively for emergency use.
13.2 It is prohibited to manipulate the lifebuoy without reason, move it, use it for play, remove it from its designated place or damage it in any way.
13.3 In the event of use of the lifebuoy or any emergency situation near the water, the guest is obliged to inform the operator immediately.
13.4 Damage, loss or misuse of the lifebuoy may be charged to the guest.
14. Minibar and Refreshments
14.1 The houseboat may include a minibar and small refreshments.
14.2 All consumption from the minibar is charged according to the current price list / menu located in the accommodation.
14.3 The guest is obliged to pay for consumed items no later than upon departure, in the manner specified by the operator.
14.4 Unpaid minibar consumption may be charged additionally.
15. Paddle Boat Rental and Safety Conditions
15.1 The paddle boat is not automatically included in the stay and may be used only after prior agreement with the operator, confirmation of availability and payment of the relevant fee.
15.2 After confirmation of the paddle boat rental and receipt of payment, the operator will provide the guest with the lock code or other instructions for its use.
15.3 By renting, paying for and using the paddle boat, the guest confirms that they have read these conditions and agrees that they use the paddle boat entirely at their own risk.
15.4 The paddle boat may be used only by persons capable of safe movement on water. Children may use it only under the direct supervision of an adult.
15.5 The paddle boat must not be used under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication affecting attention or any other substances reducing the ability to move safely on water.
15.6 The paddle boat must not be used after dark, in reduced visibility, strong wind, storm, rain, increased water level or any other unfavourable conditions.
15.7 When using the paddle boat, the guest is obliged to behave safely and considerately and must not approach boats, houseboats, piers, banks, currents or other obstacles in a dangerous manner.
15.8 It is prohibited to overload the paddle boat, jump from it into the water, intentionally rock it, damage it or use it for any purpose other than the one for which it is intended.
15.9 After use, the guest is obliged to return the paddle boat to its original place, secure it properly, lock it and check that it cannot drift away.
15.10 The guest is responsible for loss, damage, theft or improper securing of the paddle boat and is obliged to compensate all resulting damage and related costs.
15.11 The operator is not responsible for injury, damage, falling into the water, loss of personal belongings or any other harm arising from the use of the paddle boat, unless caused by a breach of the operator’s obligations.
16. Pets
16.1 Pets are allowed only with the prior consent of the operator and under the conditions agreed at the time of reservation.
16.2 The pet owner is responsible for all damage, soiling, odour, noise or any other complications caused by the pet.
16.3 Pets must not be left alone on the houseboat without supervision, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the operator.
16.4 Pets are not allowed on the bed, sofa or any other upholstered furniture.
17. Waste, Order and Protection of the Surroundings
17.1 Guests are obliged to keep the interior of the houseboat, terrace, upper deck, pier and surrounding area tidy.
17.2 Waste must be disposed of only in designated places.
17.3 It is prohibited to throw rubbish, cigarette butts, food, hygiene products, liquids, chemicals or any other items into the water.
17.4 Guests are obliged to behave considerately towards the surrounding nature, water, greenery and marina equipment.
18. Guest Registration
18.1 Each guest is obliged to fill in complete and truthful identification details in the registration form sent by the operator before arrival.
18.2 Without fulfilling this registration obligation, check-in may not be allowed.
18.3 The guest is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the details provided.
18.4 Entry to and stay on the houseboat is permitted only to persons stated in the reservation and properly registered via the registration form.
19. Payments for Additional Services
19.1 Any additional services, especially minibar consumption, paddle boat rental or other services ordered during the stay, are charged according to the current price list located in the accommodation or as agreed with the operator.
19.2 The guest is obliged to pay for these services no later than upon departure, or before using them if required by the operator.
19.3 In the event of non-payment for additional services, the operator is entitled to request additional payment.
20. Departure from the Accommodation
20.1 Upon departure, the guest is obliged to leave the houseboat in normal condition and switch off appliances, air conditioning, television and lights.
20.2 The guest is obliged to close the windows, lock the doors and check that the houseboat is properly secured.
20.3 If the guest used the upper deck, they are obliged to check that the hatch above the stairs is properly closed.
20.4 If the guest used outdoor equipment, they are obliged to return it to the outdoor storage cabinet, close the cabinet and lock it.
20.5 If the guest rented the paddle boat, they are obliged to check before departure that it has been returned to its original place, properly locked and secured.
20.6 The keys must be returned to the same lockbox according to the operator’s instructions. After placing the keys inside, the guest must close the lockbox properly and scramble the numbers.
20.7 In the event of late departure without prior agreement, the guest may be charged a fee according to the operator’s current conditions.
21. Breach of the Operating Rules
21.1 In the event of a serious breach of these Operating Rules, the operator is entitled to terminate the guest’s stay immediately without any compensation.
21.2 A serious breach includes, in particular, the presence of unregistered persons, a higher number of persons than stated in the reservation, exceeding the maximum technical capacity of the houseboat, organizing parties, disturbing quiet hours, smoking indoors, damaging equipment, excessive soiling, manipulation with technical equipment, manipulation with electrical connections, manipulation with ropes, winches or mooring elements, unauthorised manipulation with cameras, unauthorised manipulation with the Jablotron security system, manipulation with the key locator, failure to return keys, improper use of the paddle boat, failure to return or secure the paddle boat, entry into unauthorised parts of the marina or onto neighbouring boats.
21.3 In the event of a breach of the rules concerning the number of persons, the presence of unregistered persons, the prohibition of visitors, manipulation with technical equipment, safety elements, ropes, winches, cameras, security system, key locator or in the event of any other serious breach of these Operating Rules, the operator is entitled to charge a contractual penalty of EUR 150.
21.4 The operator is entitled to claim compensation for all damage incurred, costs of extraordinary cleaning, service interventions, repairs, transport, administration and any other related costs.
21.5 Agreed contractual penalties and flat-rate compensations do not affect the operator’s right to claim compensation for damage in full if the actual damage exceeds these amounts.
22. Final Provisions
22.1 These Operating Rules are binding for all guests staying on Houseboat Neptun.
22.2 The operator reserves the right to update or supplement these Operating Rules at any time.
22.3 These Operating Rules enter into force and effect on: [insert date]
